About The L'Anse Creuse Bands

A Tradition of Excellence
The L'Anse Creuse Bands Program is the PRIDE of Harrison Township, MI! They are an award-winning organization comprised of Freshman Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Color Guard, and Winter Guard. We have over 150 high school students that participate in the L'Anse Creuse Bands Program.
Our Concert Bands consistently earn Division I and Superior ratings at festivals and competitions. The Marching Lancers compete in MCBA (Michigan Competing Bands Association) and have performed at the State Finals at Ford Field for the last 20+ years ! The Marching Lancers recently completed their 2023 season winning FIRST PLACE in 4 competitions, multiple "caption" awards for Best Color Guard, Best Percussion, and Best Visual Effect. The season culminated in placing 3rd in the State Finals competition at Ford Field on November 4, 2023.
Our Winter Guard program won the 2022 MCGA Championship, and they will make another run at the title in 2024!
So... What is a band booster?
Band boosters are parents, alumni, little brothers & sisters, local merchants, and anyone involved in supporting the amazing personal growth that comes with your student's journey in the L'Anse Creuse Band program. The band booster organization exists to organize this support through volunteer collaboration and fundraising projects.
We invite you to come on this journey WITH our kids.
